Annual Conference
Each year, the Alliance of the American Dental Association sponsors a Conference for all members. In 2009, Conference was held in Baltimore Maryland March 26-28, at the Tremont Plaza Hotel. DC Sights and Sounds allowed members to enjoy special tours which included the Library of Congress, US Capitol , and the White House. On Thurday March 26th, the Conference opened with “Welcome to Baltimore, Hon!”, featuring painted screens, marble steps, steamed crabs, the Star Spangled Banner, and the inside scoop on what makes “Bawlmer” tick. Other Conference highlights included a Dentist Continuing Education event, sponsored by the University of Maryland at Baltimore Dental School.
Sheryl Rousch was the internationally top-rated keynote opening speaker, talking about “Sparkle-Tude: Community with Confidence and Higher Self Empowerment for Women”.
